Reaping Me Softly

Kate Evangelista's new book, Reaping Me Softly, will be released on October 30, 2012.  Check out the cover and a brief description of the book below.

Book description:
Ever since a near-death-experience on the operating table, seventeen-year-old Arianne Wilson can see dead people. Just as she’s learned to accept her new-found talents, she discovers that the boy she’s had a crush on since freshman year, Niko Clark, is a Reaper.

At last they have something in common, but that doesn’t mean life is getting any easier. All while facing merciless bullying from the most powerful girl in school, Arianne’s world is turned upside down after Niko accidentally reaps the soul of someone she loves. This sends them both into a spiral that threatens to end Arianne’s life. But will Niko break his own Reaper’s code to save her? And what would the consequences be if he did?

AToMR Tours will be conducting a book blog tour for the book from October 29, 2012 - November 3, 2012.  Bloggers interested in being a tour host can sign up on the site.

Review: Deadly Phine

Deadly Phine
Deadly Phine by Darrell King

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Deadly Phine, is a story about a drug dealer who seeks revenge in the deadliest way. It is also about how the government does corrupt things to its citizens. Deadly Phine is a mix between the movie Mrs. Ever's Boys and some of the headlines you hear about in the news. I really enjoyed this book. I would have liked Lucien's uncle to have a bigger part in the book, other than that, this was a good read.

Review: The Eastern Shores

The Eastern Shores
The Eastern Shores by Dave Evangelista

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Eastern Shores is a novel that tells the lives of the residents of North Mallardville. I really enjoyed this book. It was like watching the soaps on television. It was hard to put this book down. I especially enjoyed the fact that you could not predict what was going to happen next. Really good book!
